Mitchell Trubisky Injury Update Clouds Potential Streaming Value vs Giants in Week 12

Mitchell Trubisky's disastrous 2019 campaign took another hit in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. He completed 24-of-43 attempts for 190 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Trubisky was benched in the fourth quarter due to a hip injury, and this could all but eliminate any potential streaming value he had in Week 12.

While Trubisky has been pretty much irrelevant from a fantasy perspective, any quarterback can be fantasy viable against the New York Giants, who Trubisky, or his backup Chase Daniel, will face in Week 12.

Chase Daniel Fantasy Outlook

Daniel hasn't been much better than Trubisky, averaging 213.0 passing yards and 1.5 TDs per game in his two appearances this season. But a matchup with New York could make him fantasy relevant.

The Giants have given up the ninth-most fantasy points per game (19.7) to opposing passers, and New York is the fifth-worst passing defense in the league, according to Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings.

That can make whoever faces the Giants a viable streaming option in Week 12, especially with three top-12 fantasy QBs on bye in Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray.

If Trubisky is healthy, he has a chance to return some fantasy value in Week 12. If he's sidelined, then Daniel, could be worth a look as a fantasy streaming option given how poorly the Giants have played this season.
