From his collegiate career at North Carolina to his tenure with the Chicago Bears, fans have become accustomed to seeing Mitchell Trubisky wear No. 10.
However, after signing a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Buffalo Bills to back up Josh Allen, he'll need to make a change. After all, his No. 10 is currently being worn by newly-signed WR Emmanuel Sanders.

With that being said, ESPN NFL insider Field Yates reported on Thursday Trubisky will be wearing the No. 8 going forward.
Trubisky won't be expected to do a lot on a Buffalo team that already has Allen leading the offseason. However, if Allen needs to rest or misses time due to injury, Trubisky has plenty of experience as a starting quarterback.
In four seasons with the Bears, Trubisky completed 1,010 out of 1,577 passing attempts (64.0%) for 10,609 yards and 64 touchdowns to 37 interceptions. He was also involved in the Bears' rushing came, recording 1,057 yards on the ground and 8 rushing touchdowns on 190 attempts. However, a majority of Trubisky's rushing stats came within his first two seasons.
Nevertheless, Bills fans should be happy to have one of the better backups in the league. Trubisky wasn't an amazing starter for the Bears by any stretch of the imagination, but his role as a backup would be valued by most NFL teams.
The Bills are also expected to be Super Bowl contenders in 2021. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Buffalo has +1200 odds to win Super Bowl 56, which is tied for third-highest among all teams.
