Mel Kiper's First Round Projection for 49ers Would Be a Draft Steal at No. 13 Pick

The San Francisco 49ers made one of the more surprising trades of the offseason, sending DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for the No. 13 overall pick. With a roster that looks ready to compete for another Super Bowl, this will be an incredibly important selection for the team.
And according to Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest mock draft, the team could be getting an absolute steal with that pick.
CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs all are top-tier wide receiver prospects.

If the 49ers go WR at No. 13, which one should they draft?https://t.co/F4pYiDLWM3 pic.twitter.com/T9dTcUKs0Z
Kiper has the team selecting Jerry Jeudy, the consensus No. 1 wideout in this year's class. The team has an obvious need at the position – especially now that Emmanuel Sanders has joined the New Orleans Saints.
Outside of Deebo Samuel, no 49ers' wide receiver that's still on the roster reached even 360 receiving yards last season.
The 2018 Biletnikoff Award winner as a sophomore, Jeudy has racked up at least 1,150 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in back-to-back campaigns. He's widely considered to be the most polished receiver in the NFL Draft, and he looks poised to fill the 49ers' void at WR from day one.
If he indeed falls to the No. 13 pick, the 49ers should rush to the podium to snatch him up.
