For 18 of the 32 NFL teams, the 2020 season has come to an end. That doesn't mean it's time for a break, however, as teams are already turning their attention to the offseason ahead.

One of the most impactful events of the offseason is the NFL Draft, and naturally analysis on this year's draft has already started.

ESPN expert Todd McShay has also released his first 2021 NFL mock draft, and it includes a shocking slide for Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.

Justin Fields Draft Stock

Todd McShay has Justin Fields falling all the way to the New England Patriots, at the No. 15 overall pick.

It's no surprise that the Patriots need a quarterback, with Cam Newton likely on his way out as an unrestricted free agent, but the surprise is which QB McShay is projecting to NE.

Fields is being projected as a near-consensus No. 2 overall pick to the New York Jets, and it seems that the only thing keeping him from being projected as a No. 1 pick is the presence of an unusually elite QB prospect in Clemson's Trevor Lawrence.

Fields has one game left in his collegiate career, Monday's National Championship against Alabama, but thusfar he has thrown for 5,179 yards with a whopping 62 touchdowns to just 9 interceptions across his 21 games as a Buckeye.

Patriots fans have to be excited about at least one expert thinking they'll get a shot at a potential franchise QB at No. 15.
