With NFL free agency almost underway, mock drafts for the 2021 NFL Draft are in full swing. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. is always one of the most trusted analysts in this regard, and his latest mock draft involves an all-time first, multiple trades in the first round.

The first of which involves the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets, and it's huge.

Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft

Kiper has the Falcons going all-in on BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, trading up from the No. 4 overall to No. 2.

He compares this deal to the Mitchell Trubisky trade from 2017, and has Atlanta giving up quite the haul to acquire Wilson. In this scenario, the Falcons aren't the only ones bidding on the second pick in the draft, and they'll send back their 2021 first rounder, second rounders and more to get their hands on it.

That's a lot, but it'll be worth it for the Falcons fans that are ready to mold their quarterback of the future. Whether they traded Matt Ryan or kept him as a one-year mentor for Wilson, a plan beyond Matty Ice would finally exist.

In an earlier mock, Todd McShay projected the Falcons to select Wilson at No. 4, but as we get closer to the draft it seems that the BYU star is getting more and more popular. If Atlanta wants him, Kiper might be right about them having to trade up to get him.
