The Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off a Super Bowl win, thanks to their high-powered offense and the numerous weapons they field every game. One of the best acquisitions to their team last season was then-rookie wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who has high potential from a fantasy football perspective heading into 2020.
Last season, he became one of only 12 age 21 rookie wide receivers to ever score 100 PPR fantasy points, since 2010. This puts him in some terrific company and projects him to have a big second year in the NFL.
Of the other 11 players to score over 100 PPR fantasy points as a rookie, 73 percent of them scored over 200 in their second NFL season. This is an impressive number, and even more impressive is that 91 percent of these players have at least one 200-point season in their career. The only player on the list not to accomplish this feat is Devin Funchess, but he did put up 195 PPR points in 2017.
Hardman's role as a receiver should only grow in his second season, as Andy Reid looks to get another explosive weapon on the field as much as possible. The second-year receiver is also a dangerous returner, taking one kickoff to the house last season.
