Matt Patricia's time as head coach of the Detroit Lions will not be a time the fans, or the organization remembers fondly. And after quarterback Matthew Stafford's latest comments, it sounds like you can add the Lions' players to that category as well.

While it wasn't a direct jab at Patricia, Stafford praised interim coach Darrell Bevell, pointing to his infectious energy, something that clearly wasn't being brought to the table by Patricia.

Patricia finished his head coaching career in Detroit with a 13-29 record, so a lack of excitement from the players can be understood. A fresh new approach can often be a welcomed sign to a struggling team, and it looks like that's exactly what is happening with the Lions right now.
