Lions Get Amazing News on Matthew Stafford Injury

The Detroit Lions are feeling good after their last-second win against the Washington Football Team in Week 10. QB Matthew Stafford led his team down the field to put them in position for the game-winning 59-yard field goal as time expired.
The celebration was put on hold when Stafford underwent medical tests on his thumb after the game, but the early news is great.
Stafford will have some more tests today to make sure there is no structural damage. But the early vibe is optimistic. https://t.co/jkNqEDYS5o

The former No. 1 pick has struggled with injuries throughout his career, so any news of him getting looked at is concerning. But the early returns seem positive ahead of the Lions' Week 11 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Stafford had another solid game in Week 10 against Washington. He threw for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns, all without a single interception. The quarterback had previously thrown a combined 3 INTs in his last two games, which ended in losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings, respectively.
For the season, Stafford has been solid under center. He ranks 11th in the NFL in passing yards (2,403) and is tied for 11th in passing touchdowns (17), although his 7 interceptions and QBR of 66.4 leave room for improvement.
If he isn't ready to go, Chase Daniel will be up for the Lions. Daniel threw 1 TD and 1 INT in his lone appearance this season against the Vikings in Week 9.
