Trade rumors regarding the 2022 NFL Draft are going to keep coming all the way until Mr. Irrelevant hears his name called in the seventh round. The latest from CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora suggests that the Philadelphia Eagles could be in the market of trading up to take a top wide receiver prospect.

Philadelphia Eagles NFL Draft

Pass-catchers like Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Drake London are all being featured in top-10 conversations, which may force the Eagles to make a move if they want to acquire one of the three. Hoping that a top talent will fall to the No. 15 spot is seemingly getting more and more unrealistic.

Of course, Philadelphia has the ammo to finalize a deal if that is what it comes down to. Not only do the Eagles own two first-round picks in 2022 (No. 15 & No. 18), but they also have two first-round picks in 2023. A multitude of 2022 late-round picks will surely help put together a great package, too.

Philadelphia's front office hit a home run when they drafted DeVonta Smith in the first round last April, but the depth behind him is lacking to say the least. Neither Quez Watkins, Zach Pascal or Jalen Reagor have ever put up more than 647 receiving yards in a single season.

General manager Howie Roseman has built a reputation for not being afraid to make trades in order to put the team in what he feels is the best position to win. Giving quarterback Jalen Hurts another dynamic weapon on offense would surely aide in his development as Philadelphia's franchise starter.

Keep an eye on the Eagles when the 2022 NFL Draft kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 28.
