The NFL Draft is right around the corner and the future faces of the league are ready to find their permanent home.
This class is loaded with talent, but all eyes, as per usual, are on the quarterbacks. There are a number of gunslingers who could see their name called during the first round, but the range where they may land is still up in the air.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Kyler Murray is currently the big favorite to be the first quarterback taken in this year's draft.
It's hard to argue against Murray getting taken off the board as early as first in this year's draft. His 4,361 yards and 42 passing touchdowns helped earn him the Heisman Trophy during his lone year starting at Oklahoma. After his decision to bypass baseball and focus strictly on football, many have the Cardinals rumored to select Murray first overall, although, that isn't a guarantee right now since Josh Rosen is still in Arizona.
If the Cardinals do pass on Arizona, things begin to get interesting. The 49ers, Jets, and Raiders all have their quarterbacks of the future, or presumably so with the Raiders. The Buccaneers still have Jameis Winston, but could snag Murray if he falls to five. If a quarterback isn't picked when the Giants hit the clock, we could see Dwayne Haskins get the opportunity to play in his own backyard of New Jersey over the former Oklahoma Sooner. Or it could be Daniel Jones.
There's still some time before the NFL Draft kicks off, but the clock is certainly ticking.
