The 2020 NFL Draft class brings us a loaded crop of quarterbacks, with Arizona's Khalil trending toward the tail end of that list. Tate projects to land in the later rounds, but there's still likely to be quite a few teams competing for his services at that point in the draft.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some expert predictions for Tate's landing spot in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Khalil Tate Draft Projection 2020
Matt Miller, of Bleacher Report, has Tate going Undrafted this April.
Despite projecting 13 QBs to be taken in this year's draft, Ryan Wilson, of CBS Sports, predicts that Tate will go Undrafted.
Walter Cherepinsky, of Walter Football, expects the Cleveland Browns to pull the trigger on Tate early in the sixth round with the No. 187 overall pick.
Just like Miller and Wilson, Luke Easterling, of USA Today's Draftwire, has Tate going Undrafted this year as well.
Vinnie Iyer, of Sporting News, makes it four of a kind here by projecting Tate to go Undrafted.
Khalil Tate NFL Draft Prediction
- Browns (No. 187)
With only one of the five experts highlighted above predicting Tate to be drafted at any point, the consensus opinion here suggests the former Arizona standout QB will be an undrafted free agent come two weeks from now.
