Kevin Stefanski Reacts to Jamie Gillan's Punt Mishap vs Chiefs

Mistakes in the second half cost the Cleveland Browns a golden chance at a Week 1 upset against the Kansas City Chiefs. Outside of the turnovers, punter Jamie Gillan mishandled a snap in the fourth quarter that set up the go-ahead score for KC.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski weighed in on his punter's mishap after the game.

Stefanski put it plainly that Gillan still had time to punt the ball away instead of gifting the Chiefs the ball in the red zone, and the punter "knows that." The head coach is clearly disappointed that his punter panicked, but it doesn't sound like Gillan's job security is in jeopardy after one mistake.
Gillan's punt going south was just one of a few plays that went wrong for Cleveland, who was up 22-10 at halftime. Nick Chubb's fumble in the third quarter allowed the Chiefs to get within striking distance, and Baker Mayfield's interception with under two minutes left sealed the Browns' fate.
It was still a promising showing, and Cleveland has the perfect opportunity to bounce back with the Houston Texans on the schedule for Week 2.
