Opening Citrus Bowl Odds
When it comes to the moneyline, the Wildcats are favored to win at -148 odds. On the other hand, the Hawkeyes sit as the +120 favorite.
While the Citrus Bowl has been around since 1947, this is Kentucky's second appearance at the annual event. The Wildcats first competed in 2019, defeating Penn State, 27-24.
Iowa has also played in just one Citrus Bowl, with this year's appearance marking the school's first since 2005. The Hawkeyes are also 1-0, having won 30-25 over LSU.
The upcoming bowl game will mark the first-ever head-to-head matchup between Kentucky and Iowa. Nevertheless, the Hawkeyes will be looking to bounce back following their embarrassment at the hands of Michigan in this year's Big Ten Championship game.
The 2021 Gasparilla Bowl will take place at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 1 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL,
