3 Most Likely Kelly Oubre Jr. Free Agent Destinations

Kelly Oubre Jr. is one of the more intriguing options available on the free-agent market. Still just 25 years old, and seemingly yet to reach his full potential, the uber-athletic guard could take the next step in his development next season for a number of teams.
Kelly Oubre Jr. Free Agency
With that in mind, let's take a look at three potential landing spots for Oubre.
3. Miami Heat
In all likelihood, Victor Oladipo will be leaving the Miami Heat this offseason, and even Duncan Robinson's future with the team is in question. This leaves some potential holes on the wing for the Heat. Miami is also rumored to be targeting Kyle Lowry. If that happens it will use up the majority of their cap space taking them out of the running for a player like Oubre. But if Lowry goes elsewhere, Oubre could be an upgrade for Miami over Duncan Robinson and Oladipo, who struggled in the lone four games he played in Miami last season.
2. Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks will have some decisions to make at shooting guard this offseason. Their current starter Tim Hardaway Jr. is also a free agent. While there has been reports of mutual interest on a return there, Oubre could be the perfect replacement if that turns out to not be the case. Dallas has plenty of money to sign Oubre, who excelled in the second half of the season last year with the Warriors.
1. New York Knicks
The Knicks have more money to spend than anyone and are hoping to bring in scoring help on the wing and a point guard. Oubre could be part of the solution for the former. The Knicks have been tied to Oubre a lot this offseason and he fits in perfectly with the timeline of the Knicks young core, more than someone like Evan Fournier, who it sounds like will command more money than Oubre this offseason. Oubre is a versatile guy who plays hard on both ends of the floor, something Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau values.
