It's no secret Justin Fields faced an uphill battle to succeed with Matt Nagy as the Chicago Bears' head coach last season. Now Matt Eberflus is stepping in to try to turn things around, and Fields' development into a franchise QB will be one of his top tasks.

Ahead of his second season, Fields has outlined what he's hoping to see from this new coaching staff.

Fields wants to see the first-year staff "tailor the plays" to his skill set in 2022. That's far from a big ask, given any starting QB wants to have his talents maximized.

This reasonable demand from the new regime showcases Fields' maturity at just 23 years old. He knows there's better ways for him to contribute, and it's exciting to hear that he wants to tap into his deep well of potential.

Eberflus hiring former Green Bay Packers QB coach Luke Getsy as Chicago's new offensive coordinator could go a long way in helping Fields succeed. Getsy's experience working directly with Aaron Rodgers should help him as he tries to mold Fields into the next great QB of the NFC North.
