Josh Gordon Fantasy Football Outlook Includes Little Value in 2020

Josh Gordon is one of fantasy football's most-hyped wide receivers on an annual basis. But ever since that historic 1,646-yard season back in 2013, Gordon has failed to deliver on all that hype.
He has re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks, who he played five games with last season, but he's still waiting to be reinstated after a suspension in 2019. It's difficult to envision Gordon offering much fantasy value in 2020, regardless.

Josh Gordon Fantasy Football Outlook
Gordon proved he still has something left in the tank in 2019, posting two games with 70-plus yards across six appearances with the New England Patriots. He looked significantly less explosive than he has in the past, though he still flashed some great ability on 50-50 balls.
After he was surprisingly released by the Patriots, he found his way to the Seahawks. He didn't do too much in his five games in the Emerald City.
Gordon never saw a snap share above 56 percent with the Seahawks and he never saw more than 5 targets in a single game. He did haul in a 58-yard pass, though, so he showed some explosion. Still, playing alongside Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, Gordon won't see too many targets, especially in Seattle's frustratingly run-heavy offense.

He's not someone to target in fantasy leagues. That said, few receivers have ever produced at the level Gordon did in 2013, so there is an incredibly slim chance he can turn back the clock and have a great year in 2020. But don't count on it.
