As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for a must-win game against the Dallas Cowboys, with a playoff berth on the line, they continue to deal with injuries on their offense. After being limited in practice yet again, running back Jordan Howard is at risk of watch another game from the sidelines, continuing to boost the fantasy outlook of Miles Sanders.

Jordan Howard Fantasy Football Outlook Week 16

The Eagles have been dealing with injuries all season long, and their backfield has been no exception. Howard has been dealing with a shoulder injury that is healing very slowly, and he's still yet to be cleared for contact. Should he miss Week 16, this would make six games in a row the power runner has been absent.

While his presence is missed on this Eagles offense, especially in short-yardage situations, the rookie Sanders has thrived in an increased role. Over these past five games, Sanders has run for 351 yards (4.7 per carry) and a touchdown, while also adding 20 receptions for 128 yards and two more touchdowns through the air. His average of 14.8 carries and 5.0 targets per game during that stretch has made him a must-start fantasy play on a weekly basis.

Fellow RB Boston Scott has also joined the party over the past two weeks, touching the ball a combined 29 times and gaining 193 yards.

Accounting for Howard missing this week's game, Sanders is ranked as RB23 in our Week 16 PPR fantasy football rankings. Scott doesn't crack the top 36, but he'd also make for a viable FLEX play if you're in a pinch.
