Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jordan Davis has been out since Week 8 when he was subsequently placed on Injured Reserve. The rookie came into the NFL with high hopes as one of the best players on Georgia's defense, which won a national championship and was one of the best defenses college football has ever seen.
Jordan Davis Injury Update
Davis returned to practice on Tuesday, starting the clock on his 21-day window to be added to the active roster again.
Davis, even before his injury, wasn't getting loads of playing time. He topped out at a 42 percent snap share in Week 5 and only started five of the eight games he appeared in so far. Davis has no sacks and 1 tackle for loss.
The Eagles are hoping with his return form the IR will come improved play form the rookie, but he also needs to be on the field to put up numbers, so we'll see how many snaps he plays for the rest of the season and judge from there.
