Joe Thomas Makes Bold Prediciton for 49ers No. 3 pick

All eyes have been on the San Francisco 49ers ever since they paid a bounty to the Miami Dolphins to move up to the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Every day the 49ers' preference is reported as someone new from the Justin Fields-Trey Lance-Mac Jones trio.

Cleveland Browns legend Joe Thomas is the latest one to weigh in on who the Niners will select. Thomas offered his bold prediction on who'll be the third overall pick.

There's no insight or sources to cite here. Thomas is just rolling with his gut. Maybe his connection to the state of Ohio is playing a factor, but as a former No. 3 pick himself and six-time All-Pro player, he certainly knows his stuff.

It's clear there's no consensus on who'll be San Francisco's pick. Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson are seemingly locked in as the top two selections, and then opinions vary on the QBs in the next tier.

Some like Jones, who is considered the most NFL-ready. Some are excited over Fields, who has an impressive arm and dual-threat potential. And the intrigue of Lance, who rushed for over 1,000 yards and threw 0 INTs in 2019, is hard to ignore.

Everyone thinks they know who San Francisco will select, but that's likely to remain a mystery until they're on the clock on April 29.
