Jerry Jeudy Rookie Year Projections For 2020 Should Have Broncos Fans Hyped

Holding the No. 15 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos were expected to target a wide receiver in the first round, but many projected they'd only land the third-best player at the position.
Draft night brought a pleasant surprise in Denver, however, as Alabama's Jerry Jeudy — many experts' top wideout in the class — fell to them.
Thrilled to be able to select Jerry Jeudy with the 15th overall pick.

He’s an explosive player who was the top WR on our board. Jerry’s an excellent route runner who knows how to get open, and he’s from a winning program at Alabama.

Joining an exciting young offense, Jeudy's rookie year projections, based on prop bets from FanDuel Sportsbook, suggest he could be in for a great rookie season.
Jerry Jeudy Projections 2020
Jeudy's over/under for 2020 receiving yards is set at 850.5, with an over/under of 5.5 for receiving touchdowns. He has even -112 odds on both the over and under for yards, while the over is a slight underdog (-102) for his touchdowns.
Those lines are both the highest listed on FanDuel Sportsbook for any rookie wide receiver, and his +1300 odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year are also tops at the position.
Only one Broncos player (Courtland Sutton) hit either 850 receiving yards or 5-plus touchdowns in 2019, so Jeudy is being projected as a huge upgrade in the receiving corps. Tallying 850 yards would also put him in the top 20 for rookie year receiving yards over the past decade, and would rank eighth among first-round rookies in that time.
With Drew Lock at the helm and an array of young talent, Broncos fans should be really excited about what the 2020 season has in store.
