Jammie Robinson Scouting Report

Jammie Robinson is an exciting defensive playmaker to watch, proven by his 2022 campaign. He finished his final season at FSU with career highs in total tackles (99) and passes defended (5). He also recorded an interception, one fumble recovery, and 10 quarterback pressures.

Robinson has a non-stop motor, highlighted by his playing nearly 3,000 snaps over four seasons. He knows how to shadow his man effectively due to his solid speed. He finds himself at the right place at the right time to make plays, whether that's breaking up a pass or joining in on the pass rush.

It isn't all perfect, though. Robinson's height (5'11") and arm length (29 5/8") put him at a disadvantage against the NFL's bigger wideouts. He's sometimes too aggressive and will bite on jukes, causing him to make mistakes.

Despite his flaws, Jammie Robinson has a high ceiling — proven by two mock drafts listing him as a third-round selection. He still has some things to improve upon at the next level, but there's no doubt that the potential is there.

The Browns' secondary depth could use some help, especially at the safety position where they only have four players, per ESPN. Cleveland also surrendered the eighth-most rushing yards last season, so Robinson's run-stopping skills would come in handy as well.

The Browns invited Robinson for a visit earlier this month, so the interest is evidently there. With many scouts being high on the FSU product's upside, it'd be in the Browns' best interest to grab him before the end of Day 2.
