New England Patriots running back James White hasn't seen consistent touches this season given his team's depth at RB. However, with White expected to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and fellow RB Damien Harris out, White's Week 15 fantasy outlook is set to skyrocket.
James White Fantasy Outlook
White has mostly featured for the Patriots as a receiving option this year, seeing 4.4 targets per game as opposed to just 2.6 rushes per contest. With Harris leaving behind 13.7 rushes per game in his absence, White should see more opportunities on the ground in addition to his usual receiving output.
White's pass-catching abilities (3.5 receptions per game) have helped salvage his fantasy production, with the RB averaging 7.9 PPR points per game.
White will also have to compete with fellow RB Sony Michel for touches in Week 15, but White at least has a chance to see lead-back-level opportunities. For Harris fantasy managers or those in deeper leagues who need an RB fill-in, White is an intriguing play.
But playing him doesn't come without risk in the fantasy football playoffs.
