Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars have worked to fill holes on the team's roster in free agency. They signed Marvin Jones Jr. to give incoming quarterback Trevor Lawrence a second top receiver alongside DJ Chark, and the Jags addressed a need in the secondary by landing veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin.

And now they've addressed the special teams unit by bringing in a former All-Pro kick returner.

Pharoh Cooper Jaguars

Speedy return man Pharoh Cooper has signed with Jacksonville in free agency. After an All-Pro season in 2017 with the Los Angeles Rams, Cooper has bounced around the league, most recently spending 2020 with the Carolina Panthers. He racked up 430 yards on 18 kickoff returns last season along with 20 punt returns for 117 yards.

This isn't the first returner signing by the Jags this offseason, though. They brought in another 2017 All-Pro in Jamal Agnew in free agency as well. Agnew returned 1 punt for a touchdown last season with the Detroit Lions and recorded 783 yards on 28 kickoff returns.

It appears there's a competition brewing between these two electric returners. Jacksonville will be in a good place with either man returning kicks in 2021.
