The Arizona Cardinals' offseason started off with a bang after they beat out other teams to sign star EDGE J.J. Watt. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year is coming off of a solid 2020 campaign where he played all 16 games. He will look to make an impact in his age-32 season.

It sounds like Watt is settling in comfortably with his new teammates, whom he praised after the first days of OTAs.

Watt had a glowing review of the atmosphere in the team's locker room and his teammates' attitudes overall. It's clear the 32-year-old is excited about his new home.

"It’s a blast. This is why you play the game. It’s the relationships. It’s the locker room. It’s the guys. I love it. We have a great group here and it seems like everybody knows how to work hard when it’s time to work, and knows how to have fun at the same time."

Watt already feeling comfortable around his Cardinals teammates is a great sign for the upcoming year and could rejuvenate the star in his 10th NFL season. He posted 5.0 sacks along with 14 tackles for loss, 7 passes defended and an INT (returned for a touchdown) for the Houston Texans last year.

Getting a full 16 games out of the imposing duo of Watt and Chandler Jones would give Arizona's defense a huge boost in 2021.
