The 2022 Open Championship will tee off on Thursday, July 14 with a stacked field in the oldest major championship at the home of golf, St. Andrews. Although the field is full with the biggest names in golf, fans are wondering if the legendary Tiger Woods will be in attendance.

Is Tiger Playing in the Open Championship?

Tiger Woods will be competing at this year's Open Championship. The 15-time major championship winner continues to work back from injuries suffered in a car crash in February 2021 and has only made two appearances on tour this season, The Masters and PGA Championship. Woods took a break from the tour to privately prepare for one of the most prestigious events on the annual golf calendar.
