Is Kevin Durant Playing Today? (Latest Injury Updates and News for Suns vs Clippers on April 9)
By Larry Rupp

The Phoenix Suns are back in action Sunday afternoon as they face the Los Angeles Clippers at 3:30 p.m. ET. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is Kevin Durant, who is set to finish up an injury-riddled regular season.
Kevin Durant Injury Update (4/9/2023)
Durant has been ruled out against the Clippers due to injury management. The 13-time All-Star has missed significant time this season with a sprained MCL as well as a left ankle sprain. Keeping him healthy prior to the playoffs is crucial for Phoenix's title hopes.
Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Cam Payne, and Bismack Biyombo are all OUT for the Suns tomorrow vs. the Clippers.

Durant joins a long list of Suns players sitting on the sidelines on Sunday. Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton have all been ruled out as Phoenix has already locked up the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference. The only thing left to figure out is which team will be its first-round opponent.
It's worth noting Durant has played well since returning from his left ankle sprain on March 27. He has averaged 25.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists across five games (52.2% shooting percentage). The 34-year-old forward is about to appear in the 156th playoff game of his storied NBA career.
Kevin Durant Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today
Kevin Durant is not listed among players available for prop bets on FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds, which is to be expected of a player ruled out. In fact, the only player listed in that market for this game is Kawhi Leonard. Keep in mind this is a potential playoff preview as the Suns currently rank as the No. 4 seed (45-36) in the Western Conference and the Clippers check in as the No. 5 seed (43-38).
Durant is listed among the options on the FanDuel DFS slate, though, checking in with the seventh-most expensive price tag at the small forward position. Fantasy managers have to be careful to avoid placing Durant in their lineup as it would result in a zero spot. Shifting gears to Phoenix center Jock Landale ($5,200) is a solid move as he posted a double-double (17 points & 10 rebounds) on Friday.
