Every team in the NFL already knows which teams they will be facing during the 2022 season, just not the specific dates and start times. That will be revealed at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network on May 12. The Seattle Seahawks also know that their schedule will be one of the the toughest ones in the league.

Mike Clay of ESPN highlighted just how difficult Seattle's road to a winning record is going to be and revealed that it has the 10th-hardest schedule by his grade. Head coach Pete Carroll has his work cut out for him, so let's take a look at the three hardest matchups the Seahawks will have in 2022.

Seattle Seahawks 2022 Schedule

1. @ Los Angeles Rams

Facing a divisional opponent is always hard, especially when that team is fresh off a Super Bowl title. The Rams have had the Seahawks number as of late, winning five of their last six games against them by an average of 10.4 points. While Seattle gets to have their home crowd behind them in one these matchups, it will also have to travel to SoFi Stadium. That's a place no team should want to go considering the Rams have posted a 23-9 record at home over the last four seasons. Whoever the Seahawks end up starting at quarterback is going to have a hard task facing the likes of defensive tackle Aaron Donald and cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

2. @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Munich, Germany)

The Seahawks are one of 10 teams to have an international game during the 2022 NFL season when they travel to Germany on Nov. 13. It's sure to be exciting for the players involved, but they do have to go up against a well-oiled machine in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Quarterback Tom Brady returns with the bulk of his offensive weapons back after guiding the Bucs to the second-highest scoring average in the NFL last season (29.9). On the other side, Tampa Bay finished with the ninth-best total DVOA rating in 2021. Beating the Buccaneers is going to take everything the Seahawks have and a few lucky bounces, too. Munich should be in for a good one.

3. @ Kansas City Chiefs

As if playing in the NFC West wasn't already draining enough, the Seahawks also head to Arrowhead Stadium in 2022 to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Head coach Andy Reid's squad has made the AFC Championship game in each of the last four seasons and have a yearly MVP candidate in quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the way. Yes, Drew Lock has some experience playing in Kansas City due to his time spent with the Broncos. However, he has yet to earn a win playing in front of one of the most passionate crowds in the league. The likelihood of that changing has to be low considering the power the Chiefs possess on both sides of the football.
