This Grant Delpit Quote Will Get Browns Fans Hyped Up for 2021

The Cleveland Browns are coming off their best season in a while as they made the postseason for the first time since 2002, finishing with a 11-5 record. That was without rookie second-round pick Grant Delpit, who recently explained his excitement to get back out on the field.

“It’s been a long time coming, but hopefully I can give the fans what they want, give myself what I want and what my family wants.”

That quote should do nothing but hype Browns fans up for the coming season. Delpit tore his Achilles and missed the entirety of 2020, but he seems to be working his way back to make an impact on this defense. He would be a great addition to this rising, young unit.

Having Delpit back would also help Cleveland fill a hole on the roster at the safety position. With a healthy Delpit and the recently-signed John Johnson patrolling the backend of this secondary, Cleveland's defense looks primed to make a leap in 2021.
