Giants Get Great News on Latest Adoree' Jackson Injury Update

One of the biggest priorities throughout NFL training camps is avoiding major injuries, especially to key starters. On Wednesday, the New York Giants went through a major scare to their secondary after new starting cornerback Adoree' Jackson was carted off the field during a joint practice with the New England Patriots.
Fortunately, it seems that New York has dodged a major blow. According to reports, Jackson's injury is relatively minor (ankle sprain) and he should be ready to go for Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season.

Adoree' Jackson Injury Update
The initial reports of Jackon's injury were especially troubling given his release from the Tennessee Titans this past offseason. An injury-riddled 2020 campaign forced the Titans to move on from the talented corner, who will slot opposite of James Bradberry as the Giants' starting cornerback pairing.
Jackson enters his fifth NFL season following a successful career in Tennessee. Aside from his injury-plagued 2020 campaign, the former Titan started in 39 of 43 appearances during his first three seasons. Overall, he's recorded 200 combined tackles and 33 passes defended in 46 games played.
The Giants will look to take their average secondary unit to the next level this season. Last year, New York finished 16th in the NFL by surrendering 3,807 or 237.9 passing yards per contest.
New York, on the heels of a 6-10 record, has odds set at +400 to take home the NFC East crown and odds set at +7000 to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
