Giannis Antetokounmpo has done nothing to change his standing as the 2019-20 NBA MVP frontrunner. The Milwaukee Bucks' superstar is currently +230 to win his second consecutive MVP, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, although he is starting to feel some heat from the biggest odds mover in the field.

Luka Doncic is now +850 to win the MVP, up from +2200 just a week ago. It's been quite the surge for the second-year Slovenian of the Dallas Mavericks, who opened as +9500, but now is tied with Anthony Davis for the fourth-best odds behind only Giannis, James Harden (+380) and LeBron James (+650).

Antetokounmpo is having an even better season than his 2018-19 MVP campaign, as he is currently averaging 30.1 points, 14.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game for the 12-3 Bucks. Antetokounmpo has the second-highest player efficiency rating (PER) in the league at 32.05, behind Doncic at 33.2. Doncic is averaging near a triple double, with 29.9 points, 10.4 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game.

Harden, meanwhile, is leading the league in scoring at 38.3 points per game for the 11-5 Houston Rockets. If Harden were to average 40 points per game by season's end, he would join Wilt Chamberlain (who did it twice) as the only player in NBA history to ever accomplish the accolade.

James has surpassed his teammate Davis in MVP odds, as he is currently averaging 24.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and a league-leading 11.3 assists per game. Davis is averaging 25.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and a league-leading 2.9 blocks per game.
