Full List of Cowboys' 2023 NFL Draft Picks (How Many Do They Have?)

This offseason has brought a number of changes to the Dallas Cowboys' roster. Trades have been the name of the game as the front office has acquired cornerback Stephon Gilmore to boost the defense and wide receiver Brandin Cooks to upgrade the offense. More chances to refine the roster await.

The 2023 NFL Draft is one obvious way to bring in some young talent to immediately address the weak spots on the squad. With that in mind, here's everything you need to know about the Cowboys' draft capital ahead of April.

How Many Draft Picks Do the Cowboys Have in 2023?

The Cowboys are currently set to enter the 2023 NFL Draft with seven picks at their disposal. Dallas' batch of selections is headlined by its first-rounder, which is slated to be at No. 26 overall. The team owns exactly one pick in every round of the draft, providing ample opportunity for talent selection.

Picking toward the end of the first round gives the Cowboys a chance to land a top-20 prospect if they fall for whatever reason. Ahead of the draft, some of the team's biggest needs are at the tight end, offensive line and edge rusher positions.

Having a fair amount of late-round selections presents an opportunity got the front office to package those together in a trade to hopefully move up at some point in the draft. Putting together multiple picks from the fourth through seventh rounds could be what entices a team to say yes to a deal.

Cowboys 2023 Compensatory Picks

The Cowboys received three compensatory picks in the 2023 NFL Draft for free agents lost during the 2022 NFL offseason (Randy Gregory, Cedrick Wilson & Connor Williams). One of those picks was traded to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for cornerback Stephon Gilmore, though.
