With two of golf's majors in the books, the road to the U.S. Open begins with the Charles Schwab Challenge, beginning on Thursday, May 23 at Colonial Country Club. While not every big name in golf will be teeing it up this weekend, there's surely plenty of talent at the top of this tournament roster.

Let's take a look at some of the golfers to keep an eye on when building your fantasy lineup this week.

Rickie Fowler

Despite a bad round on Sunday in the PGA Championship, Fowler has been playing good golf all season. In a field missing some big names, he could be the cream that rises to the top. This will be his seventh appearance in this event and already has five top-20s this season and three top-15s at Colonial.

Jordan Spieth

Spieth has yet to find his way to the trophy stand since 2017, but after struggling for much of the last year, Spieth seemed to turn somewhat of a corner last week at the PGA Championship. He was very pleased with his performance and seems confident that he'll get a win soon. He won at Colonial in 2017 and also has a couple of T-2s.

Ian Poulter

Yes, he missed the cut at the PGA Championship, but that's really his only blemish this season. At this course, Poulter has two top-10 finishes and one top-15 finish. He ranks in the top-25 on tour in both total driving and greens in regulation (GIR).

Paul Casey

Casey has quietly put together a nice 2019. He has six top-10 finishes this season and has two top-10 finishes in his career at Colonial, which includes a T-10 in his last appearance in 2017.
