Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Sleepers for Week 13

If you followed our advice last week, you would've landed some sneaky-good pickups. Taysom Hill looks positioned to take over as the New Orleans Saints QB1, Dontrell Hilliard recorded 18.3 PPR points in Week 12 (RB13), and Cedrick Wilson put up 17.4 points (WR17).
Let's try to top that this week. Here are three of the best fantasy football waiver wire sleepers for Week 13. And be sure to check out or best waiver wire adds of the week as well.
Waiver Wire Sleepers Week 13
Note: Only players rostered in fewer than 20% of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues are in consideration for this list.
3. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Carolina Panthers (1% Rostered)
Ameer Abdullah has certainly burned fantasy managers in the past, but he has an opportunity to step up with Christian McCaffrey out for the year. Abdullah saw 8 opportunities (6 targets, 2 carries) while playing 49% of the snaps last week. He's now seen 5-plus targets in three of his last five, and 4-plus targets in four of those five. Abdullah could have a JD McKissic-like role down the stretch, giving him some RB3 and FLEX potential in PPR leagues.
2. Kendrick Bourne, WR, New England Patriots (24% Rostered)
Kendrick Bourne is just over the threshold for this list, but we'll make an exception. The guy is quietly on fire, turning 14 targets into 13 catches for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns over the past three weeks. Believe it or not, he's fantasy's WR7 in that span. He's starting to emerge as the No. 2 WR in this suddenly-dangerous Patriots' passing game. The big-bodied Bourne is also a weapon in the red zone, giving him legit TD potential down the stretch. He's a really interesting pickup for a late-season run and has sneaky blow-up potential in the fantasy championship thanks to a date with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17.
1. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Green Bay Packers (25% Rostered)
Marquez Valdes-Scantling is another technically ineligible name, but we didn't touch on him in our best waiver adds of the week, so we'll mention him here instead. MVS tied for the team high with 8 targets in Week 12 after seeing a team-high 10 targets in Week 11. He's now turned 19 targets into 8 receptions for 173 yards and a TD over his last two games. Notably, MVS led the entire league with 153 air yards in Week 11. The targets are what's really exciting here, though. If he can continue seeing about 9.5 looks a game, his 19.4 average depth of target (aDOT) gives him an absolutely massive ceiling. He just needs to start turning a few more of those looks into receptions. It's possible that his fantasy managers drop him during his Week 13 bye, so be sure to pounce if they do.
