FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Genesis Invitational 2022

With the new PGA Tour season in full swing, we head to The Riviera Country Club for The Genesis Invitational.
Let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.
The Genesis Open Fantasy
Patrick Cantlay:
Patrick Cantlay has started off this season in stellar form. He has played in four events so far this year and his worst finish was a 9th-place finish at The American Express. His best finish of the year came this past week at the Waste Management Open amongst a very competitive field. He also has a really solid track record in this event. His best finish ever here was in 2018 where he finished 4th, but he's never finished worse than 17th. He ranks No. 6 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The-Tee and No. 4 in SG: Total.
Xander Schauffele:
Xander Schauffele comes into the event in a similar spot to Cantlay, both in good form, and also a solid track record at the event. Schauffele, in four starts here, has never finished worse than 23rd and has three top-15 finishes and one top-10 finish. Cantlay finished 2nd in last weeks Waste Management Open, and Schauffele was right behind him in at T-3. Schauffele Ranks No. 24 in SG: Off-The-Tee, No 12 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 10 in SG: Total.
Viktor Hovland:
Viktor Hovalnd doesn't have the experience at this course that the other two guys on this list do, but he did grab a No. 5 finish in his lone appearance here in 2021. While Hovland missed the cut at the Waste Management last weekend, he has two wins in his last four starts, that's nothing to ignore. Coming back to a place he put up a great performance at could bring out the form he had just a few weeks back.
