FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial CC

PGA DFS This Week
Following Phil Mickelson's record-setting win at the PGA Championship, becoming the oldest golfer to ever win a major, the PGA Tour now turns its attention to Colonial CC for the Charles Schwab Challenge. While the field isn't as impressive as the one last week, there are still a ton of top names competing.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three guys to consider for your fantasy team this week at the 2021 Charles Schwab Challenge.
FW Colonial is celebrating 75 years, the golf course is looking beautiful for the upcoming @CSChallengeFW. @NBCDFW will have a preview this weekend. Can you spot the turtle on Texas 75? pic.twitter.com/rbAibLu35v

Jordan Spieth:
It's really hard to pick against Jordan Spieth at Colonial, so we aren't going to do that. Spieth is coming off a disappointing T-30 finish at the PGA Championship, but prior to that, he was on a string of five consecutive top-five finishes, which included his win at the Valero Texas Open. When it comes to this event at Colonial, Spieth is dominant. He has five top-10 finishes, three top-three finishes and a win in his eight career appearances here. Two of those top-10 finishes even came in the last two years while Spieth was playing far from his best golf. Now that he has seemed to have righted the ship, look out for another great performance here.
Daniel Berger:
Similar to Spieth, Daniel Berger is coming off a disappointing showing at the PGA Championship with a T-75. However, he also was playing well prior to that. He already has five top-10 finishes in 2021, including a win at Pebble Beach. In terms of his resume at Colonial, Berger's is short, but he is the defending champion here, so there's no question he has what it takes to get it done. Berger comes into the event ranking top-25 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The-Tee, SG: Approach The Green and SG: Total.
Tony Finau:
Tony Finau also has a solid history at Colonial. He grabbed a solo second finish here just two years ago. He's never placed worse than T-34 at this course in his five appearances. He comes in with three top-20 and two top-10 finishes in his last four starts. He seemingly has played better among tougher competition of late considering those two top-10s came at the last two major championships. This field might not be major level, but it's certainly a tough one. Finau ranks top 15 on tour in SG: Approach The Green, SG: Around-The-Green, SG: Tee-To-Green and SG: Total. If he can continue to play up to top competition, Finau should be right near the top of the leaderboard come Sunday.
