After much delay and a thrilling end to the PGA Tour season, the Ryder Cup is finally upon us, set to tee off on Friday, Sept. 24 at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisc.

We have already gone over all the info about the event, as well as the odds, but now let's take a look at some golfers to consider for your fantasy team.

Ryder Cup Fantasy Picks

Jon Rahm:
Jon Rahm is the best player in the world right now. He is coming off a remarkable PGA Tour season and even had an impressive showing at the 2018 Ryder Cup, the first of his career. Rahm will be used plenty, probably across the board in this event, and with opportunity comes more chances to score points. Even though he's never played this course before, he bombs it off the tee, ranking 12th in average driving distance on tour this season, and No. 14 in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The-Tee. On a course that plays this long, it could prove paramount.

Dustin Johnson:
Keeping with the bombing it off the tee trend, Johnson does just that, ranking No. 7 on tour in average driving distance this past season and No. 14 in SG: Off-The-Tee. However, unlike Rahm, Johnson has some experience at Whistling Straits, and his record is impressive. In his two career appearances here, both PGA Championships in 2010 and 2015, Johnson finished 5th and 7th, respectively. Also expected to be at the forefront of usage by team USA, Johnson has all the tools for a good showing here and isn't even the most expensive player on the team.

Ian Poulter:
Ian Poulter shines at the Ryder Cup. He plays better in this event than he does on the PGA or European Tour. He's had success across the formats of the event, and overall holds an impressive 14-6-2 record across all his Ryder Cup appearances. He was one of the leaders in the comeback dubbed "The Miracle of Medinah" when Europe rallied from down 10-5 to secure a win. And with his lower price tag, someone with this much success cannot be ignored here.
