The Atlanta Falcons have shuffled their offensive line this offseason, but they appeared to settle on a starting five that included Josh Andrews at left guard. However, Andrews broke his hand in practice on Tuesday and will now now head to the injured reserved list.

Likely knowing Andrews could be out, the Falcons added offensive line from the waiver wire on Wednesday.

Atlanta has been awarded lineman Colby Gossett via waivers. The former 2018 sixth-round pick was recently released by the Cleveland Browns, but he now has a golden opportunity to prove his worth on a Falcons O-line that's also without Matt Gono for the time being.

Gossett has five career games and four starts to his name, all coming in 2018 as a member of the Arizona Cardinals. If his name sounds familiar to Falcons fans, it's because he notably recovered a fumble against Atlanta this past Sunday.

He certainly seems to have made an impression with hustle. This is a great chance for the 6-foot-5 lineman to showcase he's worth keeping around.
