The Philadelphia Eagles' struggles on offense have been no secret this year, especially within their wide receiver corps. Between a lack of top-end talent and an abundance of injuries, it's clear Philly needs some big improvements there.

Former second-round pick J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has been virtually invisible in the Eagles' offense so far this season. In seven games, Arcega-Whiteside has just 2 receptions and has never seen more than 2 targets in a single game.

As the team heads into its Week 10 game against the Giants, that lack of production is really starting to rear its head. Arcega-Whiteside was a healthy scratch in favor of Alshon Jeffery, who has had his own set of ups and downs over the past couple of seasons.

Jeffery has yet to play this season due to injury. But he didn't exactly look like himself last year, as that was yet another injury-plagued campaign for the big-bodied wideout.

While Jeffery is expected to put up more than the one reception you could expect out of Arcega-Whiteside, being a healthy scratch says a lot about the Stanford product's future with the team.
