News broke on Thursday morning that the Miami Dolphins cancelled their joint practice against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a non-COVID illness present in the locker room. It's an illness that has not spread to Philly's side of things, so a new practice plan for the day was revealed by the coaching staff.

The Eagles will hold an intrateam practice in the Dolphins' facility today and are banking on the fact that no one in the travel party has shown symptoms of a "stomach bug." Medical officials even gave the go ahead. This will be the final practice of training camp and the last one reporters can see live.
Head coach Nick Sirianni was impressed with how his team performed against Miami yesterday. He said that quarterback Jalen Hurts had "the best practice he's had with the Eagles" and pointed out his ability to make reads on third down plays. That was an area he needed to improve on this offseason.
Meanwhile, it would've been interesting to see how the wide receivers and defensive backs lined up against one another following some exciting drills yesterday. Tyreek Hill was using his speed to get by Philly defenders and A.J. Brown was making one ridiculous catch after another in tight coverage.
As for the Dolphins, players and coaches will be meeting virtually with hopes that keeping everyone distanced will help quicken the recovery process. It's being seen as a 24-hour ailment right now, which means Miami should be able to suit up against Philadelphia in Saturday's preseason contest.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Eagles listed as a 3-point road underdog with odds set at +125 on the moneyline in that matchup.
