The Philadelphia Eagles have made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons, but will still look to improve upon a 9-8 record in 2021 and continue surrounding quarterback Jalen Hurts with talent.

NFL Combine week is a great opportunity for teams to zero in on possible draft picks, and the Eagles are doing their due diligence at a position of need: wide receiver.

Eagles Draft Rumors

Philadelphia has met with potential first-round WR Treylon Burks at this week's combine. The former Arkansas Razorbacks standout is fresh off of a junior season in which he caught 66 balls for 1,104 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.

Eagles Rumors

Burks models his game after one of the league's best weapons: San Francisco 49ers do-it-all WR Deebo Samuel. Arkansas' coaching staff lined Burks up for 14 rushing attempts, seeing him put up 112 rushing yards and 1 TD. A clear home-run threat, Burks' longest reception went for 91 yards and his longest rush for 49.

Rookie DeVonta Smith was the lone Eagles wideout to surpass 700 receiving yards and only weapon to see 100-plus targets. Burks could be the perfect solution to help solve Philly's questionable rushing attack as well, given Hurts led the team in rushing yards (784), attempts (139) and TDs (10) last year.

Philadelphia owns an incredible three first-round picks to go along with 10 total selections in April's NFL Draft.
