Dwight Howard announced last week that he was making his return to professional basketball, but not in the NBA. Howard took his talents to Taiwan instead.
Clearly, the level of competition in Taiwan isn't quite the same as what the NBA has to offer, and Howard proved that in his first game.
Not good enough to warrant a contract from an NBA team this season, the 36-year-old former superstar delivered a Wilt Chamberlain-esque performance in his first game overseas, notching 38 points, 25 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks.
It was a dominant throwback performance to the days when Howard was one of the best players in the game. If he keeps it up, he might get a call from an NBA team later this season.
Howard might not be the force he once was, but he's clearly not washed up yet, either.
