The Denver Broncos may have finally found a gem in Drew Lock as their third starting QB of the 2019 NFL regular season. After back-to-back solid showings, Lock suddenly finds himself on the radar as a streaming QB option for the fantasy football playoffs in Week 15 and 16.

Lock's Week 13 debut saw him complete 18-of-28 passes for just 134 yards, but he showed promise with two TDs and only one interception. He then exploded for 309 yards on 22-of-27 passing with three TDs and one interception in Week 14.

His 12.9 fantasy points in Week 13 were good for just QB22, but his 23.9 in Week 14 put him at QB8. It's obviously been a tiny sample, but averaging 18.4 fantasy points per game is certainly noteworthy.

In Week 15 he's up against the Kansas City Chiefs, and while the Broncos' aren't likely to win this game as heavy 10-point underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, it's not a nightmare fantasy matchup. The shootout-prone Chiefs have allowed the NFL's 12th-most fantasy points per game (17.4) to opposing QBs this season.

Lock doesn't land in the top 12 at the position in our Week 15 PPR fantasy football rankings, but he's currently available in 98 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues, and he's a viable starter if you need one.

Lock also has a solid outlooks down the road, starting with a Week 16 matchups against a Detroit Lions' defense that's allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. After that, Lock takes on an Oakland Raiders defense that ranks 28th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric in Week 17.
