The Miami Dolphins are travelling to London, England this weekend to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately, Miami will be playing the game without one of their top wideouts.
The Dolphins announced Friday that veteran wide receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring) will not be playing this weekend. The same hamstring injury prevented him from playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.
DeVante Parker Injury Update
When healthy this year, Parker has been Miami's top wide receiver. He leads the time in targets per game (8.0) and receiving yards (242) while also scoring a touchdown.
The hope is that since he was healthy enough to travel to London, he'll be ready for the next game after another week of rest.
Miami just hasn't had good luck when it comes to their wideouts' health this season. Aside from Parker's troubles, Will Fuller (finger) is on the injured reserve and Preston Williams (groin) is questionable for Sunday.
The good news is that the Dolphins are playing the Jaguars, who are 0-5. If there was one game for Parker to miss, it's this one. Miami enters the contest as the -148 moneyline favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
