Diamondbacks Get Good News With Latest Ketel Marte Injury Update

The Arizona Diamondbacks have now won back-to-back games after losing six in a row. They'll look to keep the ball rolling on Saturday in the third meeting of their four-game series against the Chicago Cubs and, fortunately, will have some extra reinforcements to help.
The Diamondbacks have announced that outfielder Ketel Marte will be back in the lineup on Saturday after sitting out of Friday's matchup against the Cubs with hand soreness. The 28-year-old has been one of Arizona's best players in May and is needed to keep the momentum going.

Ketel Marte Injury Update
Marte's hand injury has actually forced him to miss a couple of games over the last week or so, leaving the D-Backs hoping that the issue is now a thing of the past going forward.
Marte started the 2022 MLB season off on a sour note, batting .146 with a home run and six RBIs over 82 at-bats in April. His performance has completely changed since the calendar flipped, recording a .365 batting average in 52 May at-bats, along with a homer, five RBIs and eight walks.
The Diamondbacks and Cubs square off at 2:20 p.m. EST on Saturday, so fans won't have to wait long to see how Marte performs. Unfortunately, it's going to be an uphill battle for the veteran and the D-Backs, who are the +120 moneyline road underdogs against Chicago, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
