A hamstring injury has sidelined DeAndre Hopkins since Week 9, but he returned to practice for the Arizona Cardinals for the first time on Wednesday.

That's great news for his Week 13 fantasy football outlook.

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update

Suiting up for a Wednesday practice is great news for Hopkins' status on Sunday. Fantasy managers will still want to wait for official confirmation that he'll play before plugging him into their lineup, but this a great first step.

DeAndre Hopkins Fantasy Outlook

This has been a down year for Hopkins, but he's still a fantasy football stud, having checked in at WR12 in fantasy scoring before the injury. He was only averaging 6.7 targets per game across his seven full contests, but his elite efficiency turned that into 4.7 receptions, 60.0 yards and 1.0 touchdown per game.

Hopkins and the Cardinals square off against the Chicago Bears in Week 13, which puts him in a perfect spot to return with a bang, as the Bears allow the NFL's sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.

With the potential that he's limited limited in his return, Hopkins checks in at WR17 in The Duel's Week 13 PPR fantasy football rankings. He's also No. 17 at the position in our rest-of-season rankings.
