Amid all the NFL free-agent buzz, one big name is falling under the radar: Minnesota Vikings' defensive end Danielle Hunter. After missing the entire 2020 campaign due to injury, Hunter is reportedly growing frustrated with the organization and has even considered asking for a trade.

If things continue to go south, it's not a stretch to think that he could officially request to be dealt. He'd certainly have no shortage of suitors.

Hunter is an absolute monster, having recorded a whopping 54.5 sacks over the first five years of his career. Still just 26 years old, here are the three most likely destinations for the Vikings' pass-rusher if he demands a trade.

Danielle Hunter Trade Rumors

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Hunter is in the midst $72 million contract, so the team that trades for him will need to be able to pay him. The Jacksonville Jaguars can certainly do that. And this team needs to emphasize improving the pass-rushing unit. Lining Hunter up opposite of Josh Allen would immediately give Jacksonville one of the best young edge rushing duos in the NFL. He'd be an excellent fit with this young team's timeline.

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts have been pretty stingy with their money since GM Chris Ballard took over, but Hunter is worth paying for. Adding him to a defense that already features studs like Darius Leonard and DeForest Buckner could be downright terrifying for opposing offenses. Plus, having one of the league's best pass-rushing units could be a great way to take some pressure off of Carson Wentz's plate.

1. Los Angeles Chargers

This is the type of luxury you can afford when you've got a superstar quarterback on a rookie contract. The Los Angeles Chargers currently have the fourth-most cap space in the NFL, and they're likely going to let Melvin Ingram walk this offseason. There aren't many better replacements for him than Hunter. Having Hunter and Joey Bosa rushing the passer in Brandon Staley's system could be the backbone of a truly elite defense. And the two could shine together for years to come, as Bosa is still just 25.
