Updated (Friday, Dec. 3, 11:40 a.m. EST): Daniel Jones has officially been ruled out ahead of Week 13. Mike Glennon will start with Jones out, but he's not going to be worth a look in fantasy football.

Daniel Jones' neck injury has left a cloud over his status in Week 13, but Giants coach Freddie Kitchens shared an optimistic update on Thursday.

The update gives a boost to the Giants' gunslinger ahead of Sunday.

Kitchens sounded optimistic that Jones will suit up, despite his QB remaining limited throughout the week's practices.

Daniel Jones Fantasy Outlook

Jones has normally been relevant only in two-QB leagues, but the Miami Dolphins matchup provides an interesting opportunity. Miami allows the fifth-most passing yards (262.5) per game this season, but excels at forcing turnovers (10 interceptions).

On the year, Jones ranks at QB19, tossing 10 TDs to 7 interceptions and 220.7 passing yards per game. The Giants enter this matchup as 4.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook, which works in Jones' favor as New York may be playing from behind.

If Jones can limit his turnovers in Week 13, he may stay relevant as a low-end starting QB1, but for now fantasy managers can keep him on the bench.
