The New England Patriots backfield continues to deal with injuries and Saturday's injury report brought some bad news around Damien Harris.

Damien Harris Injury Update

The Patriots announced Saturday that running back Damien Harris has been ruled out of Sunday's game with a concussion. Assuming that Rhamondre Stevenson can clear his own concussion protocol before kickoff, his fantasy outlook will see a boost for as long as Harris is out.

Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Outlook

Harris has been RB16 in PPR formats so far this season, which goes to show just how much Stevenson can benefit from the situation if he's healthy. After all, there's no guarantee that he'll be cleared in time for Sunday.

With several running backs on the roster, Stevenson hasn't had a big opportunity to prove himself, having never played more than 34% of offensive snaps.

Still, he's done well with the limited opportunities given to him. For example, he played just 27% of snaps in Week 9, however, recorded 10 carries for 62 yards and a pair of receptions for another 44 yards.

Harris averaged barely over a target per game, so Stevenson's workload there likely won't change. Nevertheless, the former's 14.8 carries per game will be up for grabs and seeing even a third of those would be an improvement over the 7.0 the rookie has seen so far in 2021.

Even though the Browns are a top-10 team against RBs this year, they've given up 100 rushing yards in each of their past few weeks and that's enough to make Stevenson a solid fantasy option if that trend continues.
