Damien Harris Fantasy Outlook Soars, Rhamondre Stevenson Gains Sleeper Value Following Sony Michel Trade

Damien Harris already looked positioned for a fantasy football breakout season in 2021, and now the New England Patriots have given him a huge opportunity by trading Sony Michel to the Los Angeles Rams.
Harris is the clear top dog in the Patriots' backfield, and that gives his fantasy outlook a massive boost.
Damien Harris Fantasy Football
Harris was outstanding in 2020, fully earning this opportunity to lead the Pats' backfield. He received a stellar overall grade of 90.3 from ProFootballFocus while averaging 5.0 yards per carry on 137 rush attempts.
He didn't contribute much as a receiver, but he did catch 52 passes for 407 yards at Alabama, so there's room for optimism that he can handle some increased receiving work as well. He obviously won't take that pass-catching RB role from James White, but he should notch more than the 5 receptions he had in 2020.
It remains to be seen where his average draft position (ADP) settles, but Harris is shaping up to be a great pick in 2021.
Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Football
Rookie Rhamondre Stevenson now slots in behind Harris on the Patriots' RB depth chart, giving him some fantasy footbal sleeper upside.
The fourth-round pick only handled 165 carries across two seasons at Oklahoma, but he averaged a stellar 7.2 yards per carry while adding 298 yards on 28 receptions (10.6 yards per reception) in the passing game.
He's also been tearing it up in the preseason, rushing for 193 yards and 4 touchdowns on 25 carries.
If Harris disappoints or gets injured, Stevenson could be a potential late-season breakout. You won't want to draft him unless you're in a deep league, but he's someone to keep an eye on as a potential waiver wire pickup if he starts to see some regular-season work.
