D.J. Moore Injury Update Destroys Fantasy Outlook for Remainder of Week 16

D.J. Moore's Week 16 production has officially left him as a bust in fantasy football championship week.
He turned two targets into just one reception for one yard in the first half before going down with a concussion, which has him ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Moore was already a risky fantasy play with Will Grier making his first start at QB for the Carolina Panthers' matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. His consistent volume as the Panthers' No. 1 WR still made him a viable play this week, and this injury is going to burn a lot of fantasy football owners.
The silver lining here comes for anyone that decided to start Curtis Samuel. Samuel didn't produce much in the first half, but with Moore on the shelf he could be in for a big second half.
This is also now a situation to monitor if your league plays in Week 17, as Samuel would become a solid play against the New Orleans Saints next week if Moore gets ruled out for that one as well.
